Gegerboyo is a collaborative project by Vendy Methodos, Enka Komariah, Dian Suci Rahmawati, Ipeh Nur, dan Prihatmoko Moki, initiated in June 2017. They are inspired by the rich Javanese culture, combined with urban culture, and how those two strongly influenced each other and connect with the current social political context. Some their mural projects: Kuasa Ingatan, PKKH, Yogyakarta (2017), Hard Exercise vs Epic Mystical, Jokteng Wetan, Yogyakarta (2018),  and One Decade One Street, Umbul Brintik, Klaten (2019). Gegerboyo participated in some exhibitions, such as Bebrayan, Festival Kesenian Yogyakarta (2018) and Nandur Srawung, Taman Budaya Yogyakarta (2018). Their first solo exhibition is Tan Hana Dharma Mangrwa at REDBASE, Yogyakarta (2019).

Gegerboyo is interested to discuss about Geger Boyo, the hilly area that is replicate the backbones of a crocodile around Merapi Mountain. Geger boyo is interested to discuss on the notion of gate or shelter. Thee two notions always appear when they do brainstorming around Merapi to collect information. They see that in our society there is a shift of interpreting nature and Javanese cosmology. This shift is clearly visible by the changing of nature and social life around the mountain. The Hill Geger Boyo, for a long time, has been the shields for the residential area where people lives, so that the eruption will not reach them. In 2006, the hill was destroyed by the eruption itself. So now, there is no more shield to protect the habitants around Merapi area, either physically or psychologically.
