Gegerboyo is interested to discuss about Geger Boyo, the hilly area that is replicate the backbones of a crocodile around Merapi Mountain. Geger boyo is interested to discuss on the notion of gate or shelter. Thee two notions always appear when they do brainstorming around Merapi to collect information. They see that in our society there is a shift of interpreting nature and Javanese cosmology. This shift is clearly visible by the changing of nature and social life around the mountain. The Hill Geger Boyo, for a long time, has been the shields for the residential area where people lives, so that the eruption will not reach them. In 2006, the hill was destroyed by the eruption itself. So now, there is no more shield to protect the habitants around Merapi area, either physically or psychologically.
