We open opportunities for Art Space friends in Yogyakarta to join and collaborate together to become partners of the 17th Biennale Jogja Exhibition in 2023. Spaces that can participate are spaces that work and are located in Yogyakarta and are not currently receiving funding from the Government or Foreign Institutions. The keywords we propose as a discourse starter are “Locality and History”. The program that we can support is in the form of exhibitions. Partners are strongly advised to work with curators or authors.
The Biennale Jogja 17 exhibition will be held between the second week of September – the second week of November 2023, with the following terms and conditions:

- Art Space working in Yogyakarta Region
- Have a program that runs between the second week of September – the second week of November 2023
- Not currently receiving funding from foreign governments or agencies
- Forms of projects that can be submitted:
- Art Exhibitions
- Project Performance
- Film Screenings and Discussions
For Art Space friends who meet the above eligibility criteria and want to register their Art Space; please fill out and complete the online registration form that we have provided, for us to consider as an exhibition proposal along with your program in the series of Biennale Jogja 17 Exhibition 2023. The registration form can be accessed: Biennale Exhibition Open Call Form 17. Registration for the Biennale 17 Exhibition Open Call is open from April 15 – June 1, 2023. The deadline for submitting forms is no later than June 1, 2023. Selected proposals will receive funding for production and exhibition organization.
We hope that the artists you are considering to be involved with do not participate in the Asana Bina Seni program nor the Jogja Biennale Exhibition 17.
